Traditional medical diagnostics can be time-consuming and often leave you without direct access to your test results. At FH Health, we are revolutionizing the diagnostic experience by prioritizing your time and providing you with full access to your personal test results through a customized Personal Care Report. In addition, our dedicated Nurse Practitioner’s works with each and everyone of our patients to ensure you completely understand your results and receive actionable steps to continue to improve and optimize your health. Our goal is to empower you to take control of your own healthcare journey, ensuring you receive the highest quality care in a convenient and efficient manner.

Many of the tests included in our Advanced Lab Tests are covered by OHIP, so you won't be charged privately for these tests. The price displayed reflects the cost of the comprehensive care package we provide, which encompasses virtual care services, thorough assessments and reviews, and your personalized care report. This cost is not covered through OHIP. Some Advanced Lab Test packages may include tests that are not covered by OHIP, which is why the price per package varies. The total price per package includes the cost of any non-OHIP-covered tests and our comprehensive care package, which is why some Advanced Lab packages have a higher price point than others. If you do not have OHIP, an additional charge will apply for laboratory testing.

Typically, you can expect your follow-up virtual appointment to take place within 2-7 business days after your sample has been collected. Each Advanced Lab Test has a different turnaround time. Prior to receiving your personalized care report, you will be required to discuss your results virtually with our Nurse Practitioner. This report will outline your lab test results, potential risks, recommendations, and next steps to optimize your health.

Many private insurance plans offer coverage for diagnostic testing. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to determine the extent of your coverage. Additionally, our Patient Care Team can provide you with an invoice for the services rendered, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Each Advanced Lab Test is designed to target specific health needs or goals. You can review the details of each package on our website to determine which one best aligns with your health concerns. Some tests may require you to fast for a specific period before your appointment. Each test outlines detailed instructions on any necessary preparations, additionally you will receive a confirmation email after booking your appointment that will provide you with the instructions on any necessary preparations prior to your appointment.
