Financial Health Strategies, Inc., was established in 1997 when founder, Hal Stern, recognized a growing need among healthcare providers for better solutions to managing their patient–pay receivables. With more than 25 years of experience, insight and success in accounts receivable management, Mr. Stern created a new business model to help hospitals and other healthcare providers recover more of their self–pay receivables while safeguarding the hospital–patient relationship. Our Revenue Discovery Programs are designed to work directly with each patient to find sources of revenue from self–pay accounts and Medicaid. In our Customized Patient–pay Recovery (CPR) program, we contact patients and work with them to resolve their accounts, in a respectful and patient-centered manner, all in a first–party capacity. That is, our role is transparent to the patient, as we use your name and present ourselves as part of your organization. In our Medicaid Verification & Payment (MVP) program, we are on–site and on–hand to shepherd patients through the paper-burdened Medicaid eligibility process, actually creating a new source of revenue for your hospital.
